Classes For Beginner Gardeners!

Bean patch this spring

A bean patch

Hello everyone,

This is going to be quite exciting! I have been asked by my local establishment to do several classes/presentations for the benefit of first time gardeners! Apparently the participants attended a wonderful class the year before, regarding preparing and preserving their own vegetables for the home table BUT realized they needed to know How to Grow them first!

So! A pair of Ladies from the Tyndall Village Community Center sought me out to help them in this wee dilemma. Which I am very happy to do. Now for the finer details…

Dates: All happening on Thursdays….April 14th;  April 21st and  April 28th

Time: 7:00 PM till 9:30 PM, with a 1/2 break between.

Location: Tyndall Village Community Center    69 Pierson Drive   Tyndall, Manitoba

Content of Classes: #1) Starting Your Own Seedlings     #2) Soil prep, Planting and Plant Care    #3) Harvesting and Seed Saving

For Costs and other info. Contact: Kerry at:   204-268-4693

Requirement: Lots of sleep ahead of time, to absorb everything! Paper, pens or sharp pencils. A good sense of humor!

See you all there!

Happy Growing,

Mandy
