REMINDER! It’s HAPPENING TOMORROW NIGHT…MARCH 17TH in LAC DU BONNET! I have 26 students…room for just 2 more!
I got a BEE in my bonnet and I have become completely energized!
Ever since I arrived back home from this wonderful Seedy Weekend, I have been thinking what my gardening friend Blake, who is involved with his Brandon Community Gardens said to me. “WE need people to help and explain in SIMPLE LANGUAGE, how to be successful at starting their own seeds!” And that has me stirred up BIG TIME!
I have some spare time, so why do I not make time for this? I have close to 26 years doing everything conceivable…wrong and right, where starting seed is concern! I can offer help! Therefore I have decided to start a couple of Gardening/Seedy WORKSHOPS just to cover this problem (in various areas).
#1)…location has been approved! Hurrah!
IF you are interested in attending, I guarantee you will have loads of fun (I promised NOT to make fun of you…LOL!) AND you will go home with a certificate of “Seedy Readiness” and some super garden related surprise gifts.
( with 26 years in the GH business)
will be presenting a 2 hour workshop on
“How to start Vegetables Seeds in-house”
It is recognized that gardening folks would like to grow more of their own vegetables, in response to growing concerns of what actually is in those that they buy, WHERE in fact are they coming from & do they contain the necessary nutrition for a healthy body. It is also recognized that to buy starter plants has become increasingly expensive & the selection has been seriously reduced.
Workshop will de-mystify failures and offer tried & true “hands-on” natural methods and TIPS to encourage individuals’ seed starting independence.
Course cost: $25.00
(Participants will go home with surprise gifts)
Location: Lac Du Bonnet Community Center
25 McArthur Ave. Lac Du Bonnet, MB.
Time: Tuesday, March 17th ( 7- 9 p.m.)
Contact Mandy: 204-268-3984
(please register by calling…)
PS! I will be bringing along my usual trays of SEEDY EXTRAS! AND if I am brave enough I just might have some special Starter Seedling Mix bags for purchase should the need arise. ?and some Azomite?
